Yes, you heard right readers. Ownership of EMD has changed hands (again). Here’s the tl;dr version:
- New owner Suzee Sasen in-game name
- Transition going as planned, eve-mail Suzee Sasen for any issues comments or concerns.
- Data stream is fixed, so up-to-date data should be flowing
So with the new change of ownership, I’ll be looking to make sure that all functionality is fully restored. With this said, I do ask that all of you bear with me, as this will be a learning experience for us all. The best way you can help me is by pointing out any issues that you may find. Even better, if you have any sort of advice that may point me in the right direction to fix found issue, I’d greatly appreciate it. Eve-mail anything to Suzee Sasen. I look forward to a wonderful improvement and running of the site!

Grats Suzee!
I use this site every day but I am not a subscriber. One thing I would like to point out though is that the site limits its results to 10,000 lines. Could this be increased since we now have more than 10,000 items in EvE. This makes pulling data easier as I don’t have to split my queries to get everything.
Best of luck with EMD!

Hello!
I’m not quite sure what you mean exactly. Can you tell me what you’re specifically trying to do? It will aid me to understand the problem at hand.

I’m assuming cheers does the same as me.
http://api.eve-marketdata.com/api/item_prices2.xml?char_name=dem&buysell=s&minmax=min&station_ids=60003760
As an example, I import everything from that list into a spreadsheet and then link all my other sheets to it rather then make a bunch of 200 item calls. That list (I’m assuming) is limited to 10k rows and since eve has now more than that, items like the new ships command destroyers aren’t included.
If that list could be updated to allow all the items like it used to, we can pull the prices for the items we are looking for in one importxml.

When you go here: http://eve-marketdata.com/developers/item_prices2.php at the end of the parameter list is a foot note saying a maximum of 10,000 records will be returned. If this limitation could be increased, that would be fantastic!
And yes, Jala and I are doing the same

Are you aware of certain items that never, or very rarely see updates to their market data?
Chromium is an example that I’ve noticed and kept an eye on for long time.

More recently I’ve noticed the same with Thulium.

Sell orders haven’t seen any information in a long time while the buy orders see updates regulary. I know there are plenty more items like this.

I just created a dynamic tradesheet for myself in Excel. It was working fine a few days ago, but suddenly it can’t located any data!
An example of one of my formulas:
=FILTERXML(WEBSERVICE(CONCATENATE(Sell_Swap & TypeID&B4)),”//sell/min”)
I’m assuming this is an internal data-flow problem?
